The Adventures of the Travel Nurse

There are a lot of benefits of working for a healthcare recruitment agency like Clinical One, but one of the top reasons is for the adventure. If you’re looking for travel nursing employment and have an adventurous streak to your personality, fill out the online application at Clinical One and get your suitcase ready! Why narrow your options down when you could work anywhere across the United States? Even the U.S. border won’t hold you back. Clinical One can help you find travel nursing jobs internationally as well. Working in Australia is not out of the question for you!

Looking a little closer to home, the doors of travel nursing are open and waiting for the right resume to cross the threshold. Boston, Washington, Kentucky, New York, and California are just a few of the places you could find travel nursing employment. There’s something refreshing and exciting about living and working in a whole new environment.

Even if you’re already working, you might be feeling the need for a change. Clinical One can help you make that change. They’ll talk to you, discuss your options, help you get the right licensure for the state where you’d like to work, put you up in a one-bedroom apartment (at their expense!) and help you to make any necessary travel arrangements. Before one assignment is over, you can be on the phone talking to a Clinical One recruitment specialist making plans for the next move.

The experiences (both from work and recreation) will help you grow as a person while providing you with valuable experience and professional connections.

Travel Nurse Salary: Tips for Determining Pay Range

Travel nursing allows registered nurses to have the flexibility of working across the country in a variety of settings. At a time when there is a nationwide nursing shortage, many of these opportunities are available – and they often pay top dollar. Hospitals and clinics across the country hire travel nurses for 3-12 months to fill in when staffing is short.
The pay for travel nurses ranges depending on experience. But, travel nurses will generally earn $24-$35 hourly. In addition to great pay rates, you are also provided with a one-bedroom, completely furnished apartment, free of charge to you. If you don’t need housing, a housing stipend will be paid based on the cost of living in the local area. You will also be provided with medical and dental insurance from day one (no waiting 30 days), 401K, license reimbursement, free continuing education, travel reimbursement, weekly pay, and MUCH MORE.
